High-end concerts are the most challenging genre that I photograph, but that’s what makes it fun.  Conditions are constantly changing as lights burst and move and disappear, and there is zero predictability about the performers, what they’ll do, and where they’ll do it.  Throw in the cramped quarters of a stage-front pit, music so loud you feel it in your core, and the typical ‘first three songs only’ rule, and you truly have a formidable and gratifying brand of photography.
